The LG G5 smartphone is currently under the wraps but it is expected to get unleashed on Feb. 21. A 3D render of the LG G5 have been created on the basis of its purported features.

Since the beginning of this year, rumors have been suggesting that the polycarbonate construction that are available on the LG G4 and LG G3 smartphones will not be available on the LG G5. Therefore, the rumor mill has suggested the LG G5 will be launched with a revamped design.

The upcoming LG G5 smartphone is expected to feature full-metal design. It is interesting to note that despite featuring a metal unibody design, it will allow carry support for removable battery. The bottom of the LG G5 is expected to feature a drawer-like mechanism that will enable users to replace the battery of the LG G5 easily, Android Authority reported.

The rear panel of the LG G4 feature volume buttons. However, its successor will arrive with volume buttons on its left edge. The back panel will feature a dual camera system and the fingerprint sensor can be found placed below it.

The LG G5 will be coming with a 5.6-inch display. It means the display will be slightly larger than the 5.5-inch screens of the LG G4 and G3 smartphones. Since it will be becoming with super-slim bezels, the display will appear larger. For better grip, it will be sporting a curvy design, Techconfigurations reported.

The LG G5 will be powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset that will house a four-core CPU and Adreno 530 GPU. The chipset will be supported by 4 GB of RAM. The dual camera system will feature 16-megpixel and 8-megapixel cameras and is likely to carry support for 4K video recording, OIS and laser autofocus. Its selfie camera is expected to be of 8-megapixel.
