A feud between frequent collaborators T.I. and Lil Wayne is brewing after Wayne made controversial comments about the Black Lives Matter movement during an ABC “Nightline” interview.

Following Weezy’s comments, which included him saying, “Feeling connected to something that ain’t got nothing to do with you? If it ain’t got nothing to do with me, I ain’t connected to it,” T.I. took to Instagram with a lengthy post to call Wayne out.

“I know you wired a bit different than most other responsible adults, but still n---- U TRIPPING!” wrote T.I. “I don’t know what you goin thru or what you are attempting to avoid but this s--- is absolutely unacceptable!”

After T.I. posted his open letter, Lil Wayne’s daughter, Reginae Carter, was spotted in the Instagram comments. “You lost his number?” Carter, 17, wrote under T.I.’s photo. “You should’ve copied and pasted this and sent it to him thru via text but you wanna seek for attention.”

Like T.l. and Wayne, Carter is also close to T.I. According to the rapper’s post, Carter spent “countless” time at his home with his daughter while Lil Wayne was in prison. T.I.’s daughter also spent time with Lil Wayne while he was in prison.

While Lil Wayne has yet to respond to T.I.’s comments, he has since apologized for his statement about Black Lives Matter. “When the reporter began asking me questions about my daughter being labeled a b---- and a hoe, I got agitated,” he said. “From there, there was no thought put into her questions and my responses. Apologies to anyone who was offended.”

It was also reported that Lil Wayne and his team tried to prevent ABC from releasing the interview but were unsuccessful. Following ABC’s airing of the interview, TMZ reported that Lil Wayne fired his publicist.
