Retailer Amazon mistakenly shipped about 500 units of Lil Wayne's new album Rebirth on December 14 when it was scheduled for release on February 1, Billboard reported.

The albums were shipped to some of the fans who had preordered it and several singles of the album were leaked online including Prom Queen, On Fire, Drop the World, Hot Revolver, Fix My Hat, and Da Da Da.

As a consequence speculation is being built that sales of the album may drop. But industry experts believe that the album's release date could be moved up to ease sales, according to MTV.
