Louis Tomlinson may be using One Direction’s hiatus to go to court. Reports have indicated the new dad is feuding with his baby mama, Briana Jungwirth, over custody issues.

The 24-year-old singer has been unable to see his 1-month-old son, Freddie Reign, according to TMZ. Insiders told the outlet Jungwirth wants money and is using their son as “leverage.” The situation has become so bad that Tomlinson has allegedly hired an attorney to take Jungwirth to court over custodial rights.

And this is not the first time that child support has been an issue for the former couple. After Freddie Reign’s birth Jan. 21, rumors surfaced that Jungwirth was seeking close to $600,000 a year in support from Tomlinson. Their child custody arrangement is unclear, but the singer is believed to have bought a “modest” house for Jungwirth and his son in Calabasas, California. Meanwhile, Perez Hilton reported Tomlinson is renting an apartment in Los Angeles so he can be comparatively close to the baby.

That’s not the only drama surrounding Jungwirth. This week, she fired back at some of her critics on social media after she posted a new photograph with Freddie Reign. A number of One Direction fans accused Jungwirth of using someone else’s baby in her photo.

In a post that has since been made private on her Instagram account, Jungwirth wrote that it’s “unacceptable” to make up “such a disgusting lie” about her. A fan page was able to capture the alleged comment.
