Soulja Boy scared a few of his fans Wednesday when he posted a cryptic Snapchat photo with a caption about dying. The 25-year-old rapper, who also stars on the VH1 series "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" with his on and off girlfriend Nia Riley, took to the social media site to share a picture of his backyard with the caption: "I'm going to die soon. I enjoyed my life."

It's not clear what sparked the somber post, but the "Crank Dat" rapper quickly issued an apology telling fans he's been "stressed" lately but is doing OK.

"Just Wanna say Sorry to My Family Friends & Supporters for my comment Yesterday. I was just Stressed out going thru Some things & had A lot on my mind," Soulja Boy posted on Instagram. "This Life This Fame is overwhelming at times and people tend to Forget we have Feelings Worries & Problems just Like Everyone else. But Im Good Have no Worries, Im Blessed & going to continue to Striving For Greatness.”

As previously reported, Soulja Boy and Riley hit a rough patch in their relationship when female rapper Nas revealed on a previous episode of "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" that she was sleeping with Soulja Boy.

On the Oct. 5 episode, Riley and Nas got into a fight after Soulja Boy arranged a meeting so they could all work through their problems. Shortly after the show, Soulja Boy tweeted that he loved Riley and wanted to put the cheating scandal behind him so he could "move forward in a positive way."

At the time Riley re-tweeted Soulja Boy’s post but a few days later she announced on Twitter that she and the rapper had split. “So sad when people don’t realize what they have… or had,” Riley tweeted, adding in another post: “Single people can do as they please. Myself included.”
