Seeking their 38th consecutive non-conference victory, the No. 3 ranked LSU Tigers host the Washington Huskies Saturday night at Tiger Stadium.

The game starts at 7pm eastern time, and will be broadcast on ESPN, and can be viewed online here.

LSU scorched North Texas 41-14 last week on the heels of sophomore running back Kenny Hilliard, who had 13 carries for 141 yards and two touchdowns. Hilliard broke away for a 38-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and the Tigers never lost control. It was the 38th straight non-conference win for LSU, and the 28th under head coach Les Miles.

LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger shook off a poor start to finish 19-for-26 passing for 192 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

The Huskies also capitalized on early success in the first half as Washington's defense led the way in their 21-12 victory over San Diego State last week.

The Huskies recorded four sacks, and forced three turnovers, capped by a 44-yard fumble return by safety Will Shamburger in the third quarter. Washington's defense was looking for redemption in their first game since Baylor blew them out by 67 points in the Alamo Bowl last season.

Running back Bishop Sankey had 22 carries for 66 yards and a score, and quarterback Keith Price threw for 222 yards and a touchdown against the Aztecs, but face one of the top defenses in the country in LSU.

The Tigers held North Texas to 219 total yards and just five third down conversions, but overall LSU was called for 10 penalties for a loss of 55 yards. LSU's secondary also gave up four receptions for 114 yards and two touchdowns to wide receiver Brelan Chancellor.

Price could take advantage of the Tigers' secondary early. Last season he threw for 3,063 yards and 33 touchdowns with only 11 interceptions.

Betting Odds: LSU is favored by 24 points

Prediction: Even if Mettenberger and the secondary gets off to another poor start, the Tigers' defense can lead them to another non-conference victory. If the Huskies secondary can force turnovers like they did against San Diego State they could keep the game close.

Predicted Score: LSU 30 Washington 14
