‘Lucifer’
Will Lucifer (Tom Ellis) be able to make it up to Chloe (Lauren German) in “Lucifer” Season 2, episode 14? FOX

“Lucifer” Season 2 stars Tom Ellis and Lauren German recently opened up about the upcoming 14th episode of the hit FOX TV series.

In “Candy Morningstar,” Lucifer Morningstar will return to Los Angeles two weeks after Chloe Decker’s near-death experience. He disappeared on her after they shared a kiss, and he also left his loved ones behind without informing them of his whereabouts. According to Ellis, Lucifer will act as though nothing happened. He will also casually tell Chloe that he married a woman named Candy (Lindsey Gort).

The sneak peek released by FOX shows Lucifer casually approaching Chloe and saying hello. The latter tells the former that she was really, really worried about him, but before Chloe could finish her statement, Lucifer cuts her off. At this point, Lucifer tells Chloe that he has news and introduces her to Candy, his wife. Chloe looks shocked by this development because she thought Lucifer also had feelings for her.

But what Chloe doesn’t know is that Lucifer recently found out the real reason why the two of them crossed paths. Chloe and Lucifer met because of the latter’s dad. He was the one who asked Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) to grant Chloe’s mom’s wish of getting pregnant. She later on gave birth to Chloe. This led Lucifer to believe that Chloe’s feelings for him are not genuine.

Meanwhile, German confirmed that Chloe will be extremely jealous and pissed over the fact that Lucifer is now married to Candy. But when Lucifer tries to explain himself to Chloe, the latter simply shrugs it off and pretends that she doesn’t care. In the clip, Chloe even tells Lucifer that she’s happy for him and Candy when she really isn’t.

But by the looks of it, Lucifer doesn’t really love Candy, and he also doesn’t have any plans to be with her for the rest of their lives. Ellis said that Lucifer will use Candy to gain some insight into what his mom Charlotte’s (Tricia Helfer) big scheme is. Candy and Charlotte will share a scene in Season 2, episode 14, where the former tells the latter that they are now family. Candy hugs Charlotte, but the latter doesn’t hug her back.

“Lucifer” Season 2, episode 14 is expected to return to FOX on May 1 at 9 p.m. EST. After Monday night’s episode, FOX will release three more episodes before the Season 2 finale. FOX previously ordered four more episodes for Season 2, giving the show a total of 22 episodes. However, due to scheduling conflicts, the original 18 episodes are the only ones to be released this season.

While speaking with TV Line, executive producer Joe Henderson shared some information from “The Good, the Bad, and the Crispy.” “Everything comes to a head, as Lucifer finally answers the question of: What do you do with a problem called Mom? It’s the biggest episode we’ve ever done. It’s explosive, but most importantly, it wraps up the Season 2 storyline and then ends on a cliffhanger that sets up what Season 3 is going to be. I hope to have people throwing stuff at the TV when it ends!” he said.
