Madonna is lined up to appear on this season of Saturday Night Live for the first time in 16 years, according to online media and radio reports.

Although SNL has not announced officially her appearance, Madonna is expected to host or perform in the show or both, according to celebrities blogger Perez Hilton.

The last time Madonna appeared on SNL was in 1993 when she sang dressed as Marilyn Monroe Happy Inauguration Mr. President.
