The Duke of Palma's wax figure landed a new spot in Madrid's Wax Museum thanks to some legal drama.

The figure of Iñaki Urdangarín Liebaert, Duke of Palma de Mallorca was moved away from the royal family wax display as his non-profit organization, the Noos Institute, is under investigation, Reuters reported.

The display featured the Duke's wax figure standing with those of his wife and in-laws: King Juan Carlos, Queen Sofia, and the Infanta Elena.

But the legal battle, which has required that he step down from official royal duties, prompted a quick switcheroo at the museum.

He's now situated across from the sports gallery, a museum spokesman told Reuters.

The duke's wax figure even had a wardrobe change. He is now decked out in sports clothes.

The Duke of Palma is a former handball player and Olympic competitor. He has been married to the Infanta Cristina since 1997. They have four children.
