Mama June Shannon shared her drastic body transformation after losing 300 pounds a couple of months ago.

At that time, the reality TV star vowed to “never go back” to being overweight. This week, Shannon was spotted in Atlanta, Georgia, where it was seemingly evident that she intended to live up to her promise.

In the photo released by People, Shannon was seen wearing a grey long-sleeved top, black jogging pants and white sneakers. She had a huge smile on her face as she looked towards the camera.

Earlier this year, Shannon spoke with the same publication about her weight loss plans. After tipping the scales at 460 pounds, Shannon said that she has decided to make better food decisions. She also promised to exercise regularly and focus on portion control.

But the mom of seven wouldn’t have reached her body goal had it not been for the surgeries she underwent. In February, Shannon’s weight loss journey was documented in WE TV’s “Mama June: From Not To Hot.” After spending over $75,000, she underwent gastric sleeve surgery, breast augmentation and skin removal.

“It’s kind of crazy. A lot of people don’t recognize who I am until I talk. It’s kind of like I’m in my own disguise. Normally when I walk through the streets, everybody notices me, and now it’s like nobody does,” she said in April.

At present, Shannon is a size 4. On her Instagram account, the “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” star shared a photo of her slimmed-down physique while wearing a red dress.

But her weight loss journey, as well as the surgeries she underwent, did not sit well with some of her fans. Some of them criticized her for undergoing “plastic surgery,” but the reality TV star stressed that she didn’t see the procedures as such.

“I don’t consider a tummy tuck or face skin removal ‘plastic surgery.’ I believe it’s something that makes you feel better than you did with the skin hanging. It’s not like I’m ‘Miss Plastic,’” she said.
