Mandy Moore wants to find out whether or not she’s suffering from celiac disease that’s why she recently underwent an upper endoscopy.

On her Instagram Story, the “This Is Us” star shared a snippet of her procedure while at the doctor’s office. She also said that the results of the test will finally determine whether or not she has the condition.

According to the Celiac Disease Foundation, the illness is classified as an autoimmune disorder that affects how people digest gluten. As of late, there’s still no cure for the disease except to adhere to a strict gluten-free diet.

In July, the singer revealed that she has been diagnosed with celiac disease. But it seems that the actress wants a second opinion. Even though she has not shared the recent result of her upper endoscopy, Moore has been avoiding gluten.

Following her successful engagement party to fiancé Taylor Goldsmith, Moore shared a photo with her girlfriends. In her caption, she thanked everyone for a wonderful night. She also expressed her gratitude to one of her friends who provided gluten-free tea sandwiches for everyone to enjoy.

Meanwhile, Moore and Goldsmith got engaged last month after over two years of dating. The actress’ co-stars, Chris Sullivan and Jon Huertas, confirmed the news to Entertainment Tonight. “I was just in the studio with her boyfriend, now fiancé, Taylor. He didn’t say a word! He seemed a little effervescent, but he’s always effervescent. I know him very well. He’s quickly becoming one of my favorite people, and he and Mandy are an incredible couple,” Sullivan said.

The 37-year-old actor also revealed that Moore shared the news to them via their Pearson family group chat. “I’ve seen the sparkler, but I have not heard the story yet because I have not seen her yet. She just sent out an alert over our family text chain, so I can’t wait to hear about it,” he said.

Moore’s onscreen husband, Huertas, said, “I think it’s amazing. Good for her. I’m happy for her. Taylor is an amazing guy. I love him so much. I love Mandy so much. I’m really happy that they’re going to be joining the club.”
