Manhattan Crime Spree Ends in Arrest
Fourteen is, apparently, an unlucky number--at least for one of two robbers who allegedly committed a string of 14 stick-ups in various neighborhoods around Manhattan. Duwayne Bascom of Brooklyn was grabbed by police, The Daily News has reported.
He was charged with robbery in connection of a pair of Nov. 2 heists--at Soul Fixins restaurant on W. 28th St. and the Blimpie on W. 23rd St. on Nov. 2.
The crime spree took place over the last two months.
