Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has pledged to pay Donald Trump $1 million if the real estate magnate and reality show host shaves his head.

Cuban’s pledge was a response to Trump’s recent announcement that he would donate $5 million to a charity of Obama’s choosing if the President released his college records from Columbia, Harvard and Occidental College, to Trump’s satisfaction.

When asked about his thought’s on Trump’s announcement, the 54-year-old businessman, who also owns Landmark Theatres and Magnolia Pictures, told Fox4 in Dallas that he thought it “was one of the dumbest things ever."

“But, I thought about responding to him. Maybe if I put up a million or two million, he'll shave his head?" said Cuban, continuing, “Donald, you shave your head, $1 million to any charity you want."

In a Youtube announcement that Trump had teased as “very, very big” for days beforehand, he told viewers that he felt President Obama had not been transparent about his college history, and he demanded that the president reveal his transcripts and passport application by Oct. 31.

"If he releases these records, it will end the question and indeed the anger of many Americans," Trump said in the video.

Trump’s video announcement also prodded others to come forward with alleged details about Obama’s college performance. One Columbia alumnus who spoke to the Daily Caller on the condition of anonymity, said that Obama graduated from the university with only a 2.6 GPA.

The source said that he had been given the information by an official at Columbia University, after Obama’s speech at the 2004 Democratic National Convention.

“This person told me that he [Obama] was a pre-law, poli-sci major, had a lot of incompletes, and as best could be determined after sorting through the incompletes, had a GPA of 2.6,” said the source.

When that Trump’s deadline passed with no show of acquiescence from the President, he claimed Obama’s silence as proof that his original claims were accurate.

“Obviously he wasn’t born in this country or, if he was, he said he wasn’t in order to receive financial aid and in order to have a clear and very easy path into a college or university. Only a very stupid person would believe otherwise,” said Trump in a report by the NY Daily News. “In the future, people will say, 'Donald Trump was 100% correct.'"

In an appearance on "The Tonight Show" on Oct. 25, President Obama poked fun at Trump’s announcement, saying, "This all dates back to when we were growing up together in Kenya.”

"We had constant run-ins on the soccer field," Obama continued, to audience laughter. “"He wasn't very good and resented it. ... When we finally moved to America, I thought it would be over."
