This week on “MasterChef” US, eight home cooks remain to battle it out in the episode titled “Getting A-Head in the Competition.” As indicated by the title, the contestants will be working with animal heads in the pressure test after they prepare a vegetarian meal in the group challenge.

[Warning: Spoiler Ahead]

In last week’s episode of “MasterChef,” New Orleans native Tommy and vegetarian cook Hetal shone in the chicken and waffles challenge. They enter this week’s episode as captains for the team challenge.

According to TV Guide, the teams will be preparing vegetarian dishes for guests in the MasterChef Restaurant. Each team will be composed of four members, and the losing team will compete in the dreaded pressure test. This week’s pressure test involves working with different kinds of animal heads. The cook with the worst dish could be sent home.

Being a vegetarian, blue team captain Hetal has a clear advantage. She chooses Derrick, Olivia and Claudia to join her team as seen in a photo shared by the “MasterChef” Twitter account. This means that Tommy’s red team will be composed of Nick, Katrina and Stephen.

Even though Hetal has an advantage, it appears that her team will lose the vegetarian team challenge. This is evidenced by another photo tweeted by the “MasterChef” account. In the pic, Hetal could be seen wearing a black pressure test apron. In front of her, she has an animal head, which she is regarding with hesitation.

In another tweet, judge Graham Elliot could be seen posing with one of the animal heads. Elliot and the two other judges, Gordon Ramsay and Christina Tosi, will be on hand to determine which of the contestants will be securing a place into the top seven of this season’s competition.

“MasterChef” US season 6 airs every Wednesday at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox.
