Matt Bendik, “Glee” actress Becca Tobin’s boyfriend, was found dead in a hotel in Philadelphia on Thursday, July 10. Bendik, 35, was discovered by a maid around 1 p.m. EDT, according to TMZ.

Bendik was a nightclub owner and was in Philadelphia with Tobin for a business trip. Information about the "Glee" star's location at the time of the discovery of Bendik's body has not been released. Fans of the actress reportedly posted on social media that she is "heartbroken."

The Philadelphia Medical Examiner has not confirmed a cause of death. However, the Philadelphia Police Department stated that it was a “sudden death” and that they do not suspect suicide or any foul play.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Matt Bendik ran multiple nightclubs across the country -- including the AV and Voyeur/ DBA nightclubs in Los Angeles and the Addiction nightclub at the Modern Honolulu hotel in Hawaii.

"Glee" fans know Becca Tobin as cheerleader Kitty Wilde. Unfortunately, the death of her boyfriend took place three days before the one-year anniversary of Cory Monteith’s death, Tobin’s “Glee” co-star. Monteith died in a Vancouver hotel room from a lethal combination of heroin and alcohol.
