Ahead of its big screen debut this weekend alongside the “Poltergeist” remake, the trailer for "Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials" has dropped on the Internet. Director Wes Ball’s next chapter of the popular dystopian franchise rejoins Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) and several of his fellow Gladers on their new quest to survive what’s left of the outside world and take on the secret society WCKD.

Here are the top three things to watch for in the new teaser trailer:

1. The Maze Runner World Is Going To Get A Lot Bigger
At the 35 second mark, audiences will get their first peek at the survivors of other mazes. As bodiless narrator WCKD Chancellor Ava Paige (Patricia Clarkson) says, the trials were a success and it’s time to move on to “phase two.” Which is leads us to…

2. Who Is WCKD?
The secret organization behind the maze runner trials will be revealed in “Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials.” That is if our hero, Thomas, is on the right side and survives the Scorch, the desolate remains of a large city.

3. That Bridge Looks Very Familiar
Since the "Divergent" series takes place in dystopian Chicago, perhaps it’s only fair that “Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials” gets the ruins of San Francisco and the Golden Gate bridge as their inhospitable next round environ. It looks like the once picturesque bay has been dried out and sanded in at the 1:21 mark of the trailer.

“Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials” is set to hit theaters Sept. 18.
