Meadow Walker Pays Tribute To Her Dad, Paul Walker, On Father’s Day

Paul Walker’s daughter shared on Instagram a childhood photo of her getting a big kiss on the cheek from her dad. Meadow Walker, 16, paid a touching tribute to the late actor for Father’s Day on Sunday.

The picture, captioned “Happy Father’s Day,” shows the "Fast & Furious" actor lying on the floor while holding Meadow and kissing her on the cheek, while the girl looks straight at the camera with a bright smile. The picture already has received 869,000 likes on the photo sharing app. Meadow was Paul’s only child, and this is the second Father’s Day the teen has spent without her dad. He died in a car crash in November 2013. He was 40.

The 16-year-old frequently shares pictures of her father, sharing fond memories of him through Instagram. On the one-year anniversary of his death, she posted a picture of Paul holding a baby Meadow while waving to the camera, according to the New York Daily News. It was captioned simply “I love you.”

And on what would have been the actor’s 41st birthday last September, she shared a picture of Paul holding her up when she was a toddler. Meadow isn’t the only one missing Paul. In November, his father, Paul Walker III, gave an interview to share memories of his son.

In May, Paul’s brother Cody Walker told an interviewer that Meadow was one of "the most important things in his life." "Everyone that ever encountered him, he had a way of just talking to people and just making everyone -- regardless of whether he just met you or not -- feel like you were the most important person in the world," he said. Paul's final movie, "Furious 7," was released in April. He died while he filming it.

Paul’s brothers Cody, 27, and Caleb Walker, 37, acted as his stand-ins in several scenes from the film. Meadow hung out with her dad’s co-star Vin Diesel on the set. When Diesel's third child was born in March, he named her Pauline.
