Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly not having an easy time after they moved to Canada earlier this year.

On the “Royals” podcast, royal commentator Angela Mollard said that the Duchess of Sussex, in particular, must be feeling removed and isolated from the British clan.

“You have to imagine that they feel very removed. The point of them moving to Canada was that they didn’t want to undergo that scrutiny from media. They didn’t want to have the difficulties that they have experienced in royal life. But you have to imagine they must feel so isolated from the rest of the family right now,” Mollard said.

The royal commentator went on to say that since everything is on a standstill at the moment, Prince Harry and Markle must be feeling limited.

“Work and charity work have largely been suspended for the royals still working in the UK. What is happening for Meghan and Harry? All the film making, TV studios that sort of things has been abandoned in the US at the moment. Having a purpose through something like this is a steadying influence. You have to wonder when that family will next get together,” Mollard said.

But another source told Us Weekly that the “Suits” alum feels like a new person now that she has moved to North America after feeling trapped for a long time while residing in the United Kingdom.

The source also said that the royal couple’s move has given Markle the chance to have her much-needed reset.

“Meghan’s thrilled to have escaped the chaos of Londo n. She feels like a new person. Meghan has a real spring in her step again. It’s wonderful to see her in top form,” the source said.

This week, it was also confirmed that Prince Harry and Markle have decided to move to California before the border between the country and the United States was locked down due to the coronavirus pandemic.
