A global tribute to Michael Jackson will be held on September 26 with performances of top artists such as Mary J. Blige, Akon and Chris Brown singing some of Michael Jackson's greatest hits, show organizer said Tuesday.

Event promoter Georg Kindel said that up to 25 performers are expected to participate in concert that is being billed as the main global tribute for Jackson, who died June 25 in Los Angeles.

Additional names will be revealed later this week in London and Berlin, Kindel said, the Associated Press reported.

Not everyone is looking forward to this concert. Michael Jackson's mother, Katherine, and other family members are angry with Jackson's older brother Jermaine over the concert, according to reports from TMZ.
