Rev. Jesse Jackson said Michael Jackson's family wants an independent autopsy done on the pop star, according to USA Today.

The Los Angeles County Coroner conducted an autopsy on Friday and while he said there was no indication of foul play, the official cause of death could not be determined.

However, prescription drugs were found in his system.

Los Angeles Coroner's Office said that requiring a second autopsy is quite unusual but authorities have no problems with the family's decision.

Jackson's longtime friend and medical doctor Deepak Chopra said that Michael had been abusing prescription painkillers since 2005. He also says that he confronted Jackson with his concerns six months ago.
