Congratulations are in order for Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps and his fiancée Nicole Johnson. The couple announced on Instagram Wednesday that they are expecting their first child together.

As was reported by People magazine, the pair revealed to fans that they learned of the pregnancy eight weeks ago. Now, at more than 12 weeks pregnant, Johnson and Phelps, both 30, have decided to share the good news. The announcement photo showed the couple standing side-by-side in front of a large swimming pool with a tiny Speedo in hand. The exciting announcement didn't stop there. The former pageant queen took to her own Instagram where she revealed that she and her soon-to-be hubby found out they were "having a BOY."

Phelps and Johnson have been dating since 2007. Their relationship has been on and off, but after splitting in 2011 for nearly three years they seem to be happy as ever. In addition to relationship ups and downs, Phelps has had to battle some dark demons of his own. Since 2004, Phelps has been arrested twice for DUI. He is now said to be on the straight and narrow, focusing on getting a spot in the 2016 summer Olympics in Rio.
