Michelle Duggar suffered a rare condition during her pregnancy and needed an emergency C-section to give birth to her 19th child last Thursday, People Magazine reported.

Duggar's condition was preeclampsia which causes high blood pressure. The C-section had to be done not to be detrimental to her or the baby, according to the magazine.

Josie Brooklyn was born Thursday weighing 1 lb, 6 oz. Duggar is recovering well, according to the report.
