Michelle Obama has chosen her inaugural outfit as a sparkling yellow dress and coat by Cuban American designer Isabel Toldedo.

Toledo has been making clothes in New York for 25 years and was creative director of Anne Klein.

Michelle Obama has been known to select pieces by emerging designers such as Narciso Rodriguez and Maria Cornejo and Chicago designer Maria Pinto.
