Michelle Williams’ new movie role as Marilyn Monroe in “My Week With Marilyn” is going to hit the theaters soon.

Oscar commentators have predicted that Williams’ new role could earn her a lead actress nomination in the coming award season.

The trailer of the film was released on Thursday which shows Williams wearing Monroe’s signature blonde wig with a curvy figure.

The pundits have finally got something substantial with which to evaluate Williams' performance for the awards.

The biopic which is set to release on Nov. 4 follows Colin Clark’s two autobiographies. Clark worked as an assistant director on the 1956 set of The Prince and
the Showgirl.

During the film production in 1956, Monroe was also on her honeymoon with her new husband, author Arthur Miller. When Miller left the country she had an extramarital affair with Clark.

Williams’ role as Monroe in the film is of a very insecure and emotional woman who fills the emptiness of her life with drugs and the unvarying attention of men.

After 40 years Clark published “The Prince, the Showgirl and Me” but in that book the one week which Monroe spends with him was missing. After some years the
missing week story was published in “My Week With Marilyn” book.

Williams for her work in 2005’s Brokeback Mountain and last year's Blue Valentine” has earned two Oscar nominations.
