Midnight Black OnePlus 3T Announced, Will Only Be Available From Hypebeast

OnePlus recently released a midnight black version of the OnePlus 3T that was only available from the Colette boutique in Paris. Now, the Chinese phone maker is making the midnight black OnePlus 3T available to more people, but OnePlus 3T stock won't last long.

OnePlus officially announced that the midnight black OnePlus 3T will be available from Hypebeast starting on March 24, 12 p.m. EST for customers in the U.S., Europe and Hong Kong. Like the Colette Edition model, there will only be 250 units of the midnight black 3T.

“We have been working on a black, all-metal version for a very long time. Over 30 iterations later, we've finally crafted a premium, all-black, metal smartphone worthy of the OnePlus logo,” the company said on its website.

OnePlus apparently coated the aluminum body with three layers of dark coating that’s 14 microns thick. This give the device a natural look and feel. The company also says it applied an anti-fingerprint layer to maintain its premium look even with users not slapping on a case.

OnePlus 3T Specs

The midnight black OnePlus 3T will cost $479. This model features 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM. Like the regular 3T, the midnight black model comes with all the same bells and whistles like the Snapdragon 821 processor, the 5.5-inch AMOLED 1080p full HD display, 3,400 mAh battery with Dash Charge support and Oxygen OS running the show.

If fans aren’t lucky enough to be one of the first 250 people to buy the midnight black OnePlus 3T, they might have another chance. OnePlus says it might start selling the midnight black model on its own online store at some point in the future. However, that will also be for a limited time as well, according to Pocket-lint.
