Education and vigilance are our only weapons in fighting against this blatant hatred, said State Assemblyman Dov Hikind in a statement, according to the New York Post. We must send a message to those who perpetrate these vile acts that we will not tolerate their behavior.

Hikind continued to say that he was disturbed and shocked by the incident, since just last week Midwood was subject to a series of anti-sematic crimes when vandals torched several cars. Police encourage anyone with information to contact CrimeStoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
