Mila Kunis flaunted a figure more curvey than usual on the set of her new film, Blood Ties. Kunis' weight gain is viewed as a healthy move after the actress had to drop to a shockingly-thin 95 pounds for her role in 2010's Black Swan.

Although the low-cut gown made her look elegant and demure, a splash of color could have added the much-needed zazz. Her romantic updo was complimented by her smoky sultry eyes and her artfully sculpted cheekbones. The Los Angeles Times reported that the sultry look was achieved by makeup artist Tracey Levy who used Lancome makeup, starting with Teint Miracle lit from within foundation and Blush Subtil in Sheer Amourose. On her eyes was a combination of Coral Crush and Impress eye shadow as well as a heavy dose of Le Crayon Kohl eyeliner in black and Hypnose Waterproof custom volume mascara in black.

Mila Kunis showed off her much-needed weight gain in snug bell-bottom jeans, a striped tank top and a flowery maxi dress while on the Queens, N.Y., set. The Guillaume Canet-directed movie is about two Brooklyn-native brothers who become entangled with organized crime in the 1970s.

The 28-year-old actress famously slimmed down to 95 pounds to star alongside Natalie Portman in Black Swan, a film about the pressures of professional ballet dancing and the slow deterioration of one ballerina's psyche. Mila Kunis had to drop 20 pounds from her 5-foot, 4-inch frame to play the part of Lily.

I don't think I ever fully realized what a human body is capable of doing. But I think I was also, in a beautiful way, incredibly naïve, Kunis told Glamour UK last summer. I believed I could do anything. I never for one moment thought that I couldn't do it. I believe in hard work. In self-drive and self-worth.

I'm a huge foodie, I love food. But when people say, 'I can't lose weight,' no no no, you can. Your body can do everything and anything, you just have to want to do it.

Both Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis were nominated for Oscars for their Black Swan roles. Portman won the award for Best Actress for the film. She snacked on almonds and carrots to reach her weight loss goal, a goal that Kunis said was physically demanding.

The physicality of training for seven days a week and being on a strict calorie count diet was by far the most demanding thing I've ever done, Kunis told the Wall Street Journal in December 2010. [Losing weight] was simply the size that ballerinas are. However skinny I got, Natalie had to get skinnier. I was at 90-95 pounds and Nat was smaller than I was. Ballerinas are very fit -- it's bone, muscle and skin. There's nothing in between.

The Ukrainian beauty told Harper's Bazaar in March that her body has never been the same since the weight loss.

[My body] has never been the same, said Kunis. My shape is different. When I got down to 95 pounds, I was muscles, like a little brick house, but skin and bones. When I gained it back, it went to completely different areas.

She would like some areas to plump up a bit. No, I'd be happy if my a-- got bigger. All the weight that left my chest went to my side hip, my stomach.

Mila Kunis is confident about her body, but, in 10 years, she said her tune could change. I will not put a needle in my body unless I have a medical reason, she told Bazaar, but ask me in 10 years. Right now, I'm like, 'I'm going to embrace it,' but ... I'm probably going to want to have something done. I have no doubt.

For now, she is happy with how she looks and feels. People have interpretations of what you're supposed to be like. If you're unattractive and overweight, you must have a great personality. If you're attractive, then you must not be the nicest person. People are always taken aback that I'm easygoing but not necessarily stupid.
