Amid growing rumors that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are planning a summer wedding, a new report claimed that the Australian actor has put the marriage plans on hold. According to InTouch Weekly, Cyrus’ “trip down the aisle is going to have to wait.”

A source told the magazine that the "Wrecking Ball" singer's “plans to wed” have been “put on hold indefinitely — and it was Liam’s decision.” The source added that Hemsworth felt "rushed" into the wedding plans and decided to wait.

“They were supposed to get married this summer but Liam couldn’t go through with it,” the source reportedly said. “One minute they were back together and the next they were planning a wedding. It was all happening too fast.”

However, the insider also said that the two “haven’t broken up but they are slowing things down. Miley is heartbroken.”

However, Gossip Cop debunked the report, saying that Hemsworth hasn’t called off anything. Amid the rumors of the couple's wedding delay, Hemsworth shared a throwback photo of him with Cyrus.

Cyrus and Hemsworth had gotten engaged in 2012 but called it off in 2013. Rumors about their reconciliation made the rounds after the two were spotted together celebrating Christmas 2015, following which Cyrus was seen flashing the diamond ring Hemsworth had gifted her back in 2012.

Over the last few weeks, the couple has been spotted together enjoying some quality time. Last month, rumors about a secret wedding surfaced after Cyrus was seen wearing a diamond encrusted gold band when she headed out on a lunch date with Hemsworth in Malibu.

Meanwhile, Cyrus is enjoying her “low-key life” with Hemsworth and has avoided going to parties just for their relationship.
