Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth revealed last year that they have rekindled their romance after their messy breakup in 2013. Now it appears the two Hollywood personalities are looking at the new year as a fresh start for their romance. However, the couple did not forget to seal the year of 2016 with a kiss.

On Sunday, the singer-actress took to Instagram to share a beautiful photo of her kissing her beau on the lips while they embrace each other during their New Year’s Eve party with their blended family in San Diego. Void of any caption, the photo simply spoke of the passionate romance between the two following their two-year split.

Many of Cyrus fans who stumbled upon her lovely post grabbed the chance to express their happiness for the “The Voice” Season 11 coach. One fan wrote: “I am sobbing right now. I must admit I am both jealous and happy for you babes.” Another commented: “Happy new year to the best couple of [sic] the whole universe.” It’s obvious that many are happy for Cyrus and Hemsworth, as proven by the almost two million likes of the post as of press time.

Earlier, Cyrus shared a snap of her boyfriend wearing a slightly unbuttoned black shirt and gold pants. She proudly alluded in the caption how many could be jealous of her because her lover is “HOT.”

Hemsworth has allotted all his time this holiday season to be with Cyrus and her family. Cyrus has been documenting their time together on Instagram. For Christmas, aside from giving each other gifts, the lovers also spread the Yuletide cheer by visiting the sick patients of Rady Children’s Hospital, as per Entertainment Weekly.

Cyrus and Hemsworth are definitely at a good place in their relationship. The “Hunger Games” actor admitted to GQ Australia last year that the breakup was actually good for them. "Of course it was hard, man. But at the time we were going in different directions and it's just what needed to happen. We were both super young and it was a good decision at the time—we both needed that,” the movie actor said.
