The upcoming Season 3 installment of “Mistresses” may be titled “Love Is an Open Door,” but not all the characters from the hit ABC series will be dwelling in romance come episode 6. The promo video for the episode reveals that Joss (Jes Macallan) will be the only mistress refraining from a steamy lip lock in the drama developed by K.J. Steinberg -- and for a specific reason.

See, Joss had never before strayed from a good hookup. In fact, she recently divulged in a Season 3 episode that she was the one who created a threesome. But all that had changed when she met the man of her dreams: Harry (Brett Tucker). Despite being Savi’s (Alyssa Milano) ex-husband, Joss ditched her scandalous ways (and her fiancé) to settle down with her sister’s former beau.

However, the duo’s relationship came to a startling halt in episode 5 when Harry suggested that they break things off.

“I can’t do this anymore, Joss,” Harry told her after one of their many fights. “It shouldn’t be this hard. We keep going on like this, we’re going to end up hating each other forever. We have to end it now so there can at least be hope for us in the future.”

With tears in her eyes, Joss accepted the breakup per Harry’s request. But just because the cook isn’t officially her beau anymore doesn’t mean Joss is ready to dive back into the dating scene -- even if Calista (Jennifer Esposito) thinks it’ll help her move on.

“The best way to get over a man is to get under another one,” the sassy fashionista advises in the promo video for episode 6.

But Joss says that “when you really love someone you can’t be with anyone else.” Guess Harry didn’t get the memo because in the trailer for the upcoming installment fans witness him waking up next to the very same bartender (Emmanuelle Vaugier) that deleted Joss’ apology text (which ultimately spurred a fight between the two).

Did Harry really rebound from Joss with Niko? And if so, will that hinder the duo from ever getting back together?

Viewers will find out when “Mistresses” airs episode 6 at 9 p.m. EDT Thursday on ABC.
