KEY POINTS

  • Ylies Djiroun plans to stay with BRAVE CF for a long time after his impressive promotional debut
  • Benoit St. Denis continues to steamroll his opposition in BRAVE CF
  • Amin Ayoub is representing France in BRAVE CF as the lightweight champion

BRAVE Combat Federation continues to broaden its reach globally to recruit top mixed martial artists, and the Bahrain-based outfit now houses a crop of talent from the sport's growing scene in France.

Leading the pack is Amin “Fierceness” Ayoub, who holds a professional record of 16-4 with eight victories via submission and two by knockout.

Ayoub is currently on an eight-fight winning streak, and during that stretch, he won the BRAVE CF lightweight title at the expense of Cleiton “Predador” Silva via stoppage in the fourth round.

The highly-touted Frenchman is not the only one making waves for L’Hexagone under the BRAVE CF umbrella.

Also rising to the occasion is Benoit “God of War” St. Denis, who remains undefeated in the super lightweight division with a 7-0 standing.

St. Denis has been having a good run. In three of his last four fights, St. Denis had a pair of submission wins and a total demolition of British veteran Mario “Rude Boy” Saeed within two rounds.

Another French fighter to watch is Ylies Djiroun, the No. 1-ranked lightweight in Western Europe.

Djirounhad a great debut at BRAVE CF 48: Arabian Night, forcing Russia’s Abdul-Rakhman Makhazhiev to tap in the third round after applying a guillotine choke.

“I am happy to be with BRAVE CF. I want to be here for a long time,” Djiroun stated. “I don’t know what the future holds, but if you’re going to ask me, I just want to stay here. They treat me well, and the people behind it are kind. I don’t see myself leaving BRAVE CF.”

Other fighters to watch out for from France include Ibrahim “Ibra Kumite” Mane (8-4), Abdoul “Lazy King” Abdouraguimov (12-1), Michael “The Soldier” Aljarouj (7-4) and Yanis “The Galactic” Ghemmouri (8-1).

With a growing list of fighters on the roster, BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid attributes everything to proper scouting and connections.

“We have the best scouting program in the world, there’s no doubt about it,” Shahid shared. “That’s because we connect with MMA people around the world, we connect with the gyms, with their national federations, with everyone involved in the sport. That’s how you unearth the gems that we have."

Djiroun and Ghemmouri will be donning the signature French tri-color on the undercard of BRAVE CF 51: The Future Is Here. The event is set to take place at the Falcon Club Arena in Minsk, Belarus on June 4.
