“Modern Family” star Julie Bowen appeared on “The Ellen Show” on Wednesday, Nov. 9, where she slammed rumors that she’s feuding with her co-star, Sofia Vergara.

During her interview, the actress admitted that a lot of publications have been spreading rumors that she and Vergara are not seeing eye-to-eye. Bowen decided to ask Vergara what she should say when she is asked whether or not they are feuding. The funnywoman offered to lend Bowen her blouse so everyone will immediately realize that they are not only getting along as co-workers, but they are good friends as well.

“The Ellen Show” host Ellen DeGeneres agreed with Bowen about some publications fabricating stories to make money. “Well, you know it kept one of our candidates up there for a long time. I’m not going to name names, but you don’t have to have the truth anymore. You just have to have the internet. You can just make up everything,” she said in reference to the recent presidential election. (Watch the video below!)

Meanwhile, “Modern Family” has been on the air for the past eight seasons or a total of seven years. Initially, Bowen thought that she wouldn’t be cast in the role of Claire Dunphy because she was pregnant with her twins at the time of the audition. When she finally got cast, she backed out because there was another opportunity waiting for her. “I don’t know what my life would be like right now,” she said while contemplating on what would have happened if she had let the chance to be part of the ABC show go.

“Modern Family” Season 8 will air its seventh episode on Wednesday, Nov. 16. “In Thanksgiving Jamboree,” Haley (Sarah Hyland) will tell Claire and Phil (Ty Burrell) that she wants to spend Thanksgiving with her new boyfriend. Jay (Ed O’Neill) will try to focus more on his health. And Alex (Ariel Winter) and Dwight (Winston Duke) get closer.

“Modern Family” Season 8 airs Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
