Eat and entertain at the same time this Mother's Day by taking your mom out to brunch on Sunday. She deserves to be treated, and New York City offers endless culinary options. Clear your afternoon, make a reservation on OpenTable and pick up the check -- she'll love it. Below are five brunch spots to consider for Sunday:

The Palm Court, Fifth Avenue at Central Park South: This iconic location in the Plaza Hotel is open for brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Sit with your mom under indoor palm trees and enjoy rosé champagne or one of 25 loose-leaf teas. Mother's Day Tea at the Palm Court is $95 per person, and all moms receive a special pastry.

SushiSamba, 87 Seventh Ave. South: You and your mother can enjoy a meal and a show here. The indie nova band Complicated Animals will play from noon to 3 p.m. while you eat off a $35 pre-fixe menu that includes dishes like foie gras-wagyu sliders and chica morada pancakes. Add the bottomless prosecco for $25 and make a day of hanging out with your family.

Miss Lily's, 132 W. Houston St. or 109 Avenue A: For a colorful Caribbean brunch, try Miss Lily's. It's sure to satisfy with a la carte dishes like jerk porkbelly hash and breakfast roti, and the Jamaican restaurant will give all mothers a complimentary mimosa and bottle of jerk sauce. That technically means you don't have to buy your mom a gift -- but you probably should anyway.

The Gander, 15 West 18th St.: The Gander is serving specials in addition to its a la carte menu on Sunday until 3 p.m. Have a "Daisy Rose," a cocktail made with vodka, lemon, cranberry, rose water and curaçao, as you share breakfast pastries or fresh fusilli with your mom. You'll want to come back for dinner.

World Yacht, departs from Pier 81 West 41st Street and 12th Avenue: Want to get fancy? Join your mom on a brunch cruise Sunday. Tickets are $113 each and include a private table, a buffet and a mimosa. Boarding for the cruise is set for noon, and the ride itself lasts until 2:30 p.m. It'll all make for a Mother's Day she'll never forget.
