Following in the footsteps of Kim Kardashian West, Miley Cyrus has attempted to "break the Internet" with a nude photo on the cover of the Summer issue of Paper magazine. But wait, Cyrus has company: The 22-year-old singer appears on the cover with her pet pig, Bubba Sue.

The picture, which can be seen here, shows Cyrus drenched in mud. She holds the pig as a prop to conceal her private parts. The two look cute smiling for the camera. Creative director Diane Martel -- who directed Cyrus' "We Can't Stop" video -- helped Cyrus and Bubba get clicked by photographer Paola Kudacki. “Miley Cyrus; Use Your Voice,” reads the cover's tagline.

Inside the magazine, an interview with Cyrus highlights her charity, the Happy Hippie Foundation. Cyrus launched the foundation in May to help lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) and homeless youth.

"I was doing a show two nights ago," Cyrus tells Paper. " ... and I was wearing butterfly nipple pasties and butterfly wings. I'm standing there with my t--- out, dressed like a butterfly. How the f--- is that fair? How am I so lucky?" the singer asked. The photoshoot involved “a glass pyramid, some body paint and very little clothing,” writes Paper magazine. More details and “absolutely insane photos” of Cyrus will be revealed on Paper magazine's website soon.

It is not the first time that the “Wrecking Ball” singer has posed naked for a magazine. However, it is definitely the first time that Cyrus has posed naked with a pet. Prior to Cyrus, reality star Kim Kardashian West also posed naked for the same magazine.

Kardashian West's photos in Paper started the hashtag #BreakTheInternet on social media. Various websites are assuming the Cyrus's naked pictures for Paper will do the same. “Sorry, Kim! Miley Cyrus Will Have Jaws Dropping With Her Nude Cover For PAPER Magazine!” writes blogger Perez Hilton. Cyrus' issue hits newsstands June 22.
