World ranking no.1 Rafael Nadal made a strong start in the Australian Open on Tuesday. Nadal held a commanding 6-0, 5-0 lead until the Brazilian Marcos Daniel exited the game due to a knee injury.

Nadal won 24 of the 26 points off Daniel's serve and had 25 winners. He scored 80 percent of the points in the match.

Nadal is hoping to become the first player ever to win 4 consecutive grand slams since Rod Laver in 1969. He is a nine-time major champion and is aiming for his 10th major win.

While everyone is excited to see what miracle shots he will bring to the Australian open, below is the top 12 points of Nadal in the US open 2010 against Djokovic, a tougher opponent than Daniel proved to be.
