Some TV lovers aren’t lucky enough to be at San Diego Comic-Con this year, but Zachary Levi (“Chuck,” “Tangled”) is helping fans see some of their favorite stars at panels through Nerd HQ.

Levi started Nerd HQ in 2011 and partnered with The Nerd Machine, a company that makes products for self-identified nerds, to bring the event to life, according to Houston Press. Nerd HQ is a free event held at Petco Park in San Diego and attracts plenty of SDCC ticket holders as well as people who aren’t attending the convention. The Nerd Machine’s website, states that Nerd HQ “offers exclusive gaming and tech activations, nightly events, and intimate celebrity panels.”

Like Comic-Con, Nerd HQ brings celebrities in for panels called “Conversations For A Cause.” However, Nerd HQ puts the panels in smaller rooms and ticket the events so fans don’t spend all day in line. Nerd HQ uses the “Conversations For A Cause” ticket sales to fundraise for Operation Smile (which provides “free surgeries to repair cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities for children around the globe,” according to their website). Anyone who doesn’t get a ticket can watch the panels streaming live on Nerd Machine’s YouTube channel for free.
