Kristina Keneally, premier of New South Wales, has finally released a copy of Prime Minister's letter which says that the state will not be worse off under the new health care reform plans.

Ms Keneally has asked some clarification from Mr Rudd on a number of issues which involves the increased Commonwealth funding for public hospitals.

Mr Rudd's reply assured the Premier that the plan will include an added fund to New South Wales and that no hospital will be closed as a result of the new activity-funding based plan that is being proposed to be implemented.

But still, Ms. Keneally is still studying the Prime Minister's response.

There are still issues that should be taken into consideration, particularly around regional and rural hospitals.

The Premier will be hosting a telephone conference of the state and territory leaders to discuss about the changes.
