The New York Giants and Washington Redskins meet on Sunday afternoon, with both teams coming off, possibly, their biggest wins of the season.

The Giants beat the 49ers in San Francisco, 26-3, last week. The Redskins defeated a 4-1 Vikings team that was in first place of the NFC North.

The two teams will face off at 1 p.m. ET at MetLife Stadium in Week 7. The game is set to air on FOX. If you can’t watch the contest on TV, you can watch a live stream online by purchasing NFL Sunday Ticket Max.

It’ll be the first time that New York sees Robert Griffin III. The Giants defense is sure to have its hands full with the rookie, who’s played as well as almost any other quarterback in 2012.

"We're going to have our work cut out for us," said Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora. "I actually stopped by the facility and saw some tape of him and I was just like, 'Wow, this guy's an amazing talent.' It's going to be a big test for us to keep him under control."

Griffin has had a great season for any quarterback, let alone a rookie. Through six games, he’s third in the NFL with a 100.5 quarterback rating. Griffin has thrown just two interceptions, compared to 11 combined touchdowns through the air and on the ground.

Leading all signal callers with 379 yards, Griffin’s agility might present a major problem for the Giants defense. When New York faced Michael Vick in late September, the quarterback had his best game of the season. The Giants sacked Vick twice, but failed to put much pressure on him, throughout the contest.

Eli Manning might be in an even better position to put up big numbers. The two-time Super Bowl MVP will face the worst passing defense in the NFL. The Redskins are last in the league, allowing 328 yards passing per game.

The quarterback should have his full complement of weapons available. Hakeem Nicks returned last week, but wasn’t at 100 percent. This week, he’s been able to practice, and should give Manning another dangerous wide receiver.

Ahmad Bradshaw is questionable for the game. He’s coming off his two best efforts of the season. He combined for 316 yards on the ground and two touchdowns against the 49ers and Browns.

The season isn’t even halfway complete, but it’s a very important NFC East matchup for the Giants. They already have two losses in the division, and another would put them at 0-3.

Las Vegas expects New York to come away with the victory. The betting line is New York-6 at most sportsbooks.

Prediction: With Robert Griffin playing extremely well and the Redskins coming in with a terrible pass defense, expect this to be a shootout. None of Washington’s three losses have been by more than a touchdown, so look for them to keep it close. However, Eli Manning should be able to get the Giants in the end zone enough to pick up the win.
