The New York Jets and Miami Dolphins square off in Week 3 of the 2012 NFL season.

The contest begins at 1 p.m. EDT at Sun Life Stadium. The game will be broadcast on CBS. If you can’t get to a TV or don’t have the game in your local market, you can watch a live stream online by purchasing NFL Sunday Ticket Max.

It’s expected to be a very competitive game. The Jets are favored by 2.5 points at most sportsbooks. Each team enters the weekend at 1-1.

The play of the two quarterbacks may be the deciding factor in the matchup.

As good as Mark Sanchez was in his season debut, that’s how bad he was in Week 2. After getting off to a hot start against the Steelers, the Jets quarterback finished just 10-of-27 for 138 yards and one touchdown.

The exact opposite was true for Miami quarterback Ryan Tannehill. The rookie struggled mightily in his debut, throwing three interceptions in a loss. In Miami’s 32-point win last week, he completed 60 percent of his passes and didn’t throw a pick.

Ben Roethlisberger threw for a 125.1 quarterback rating against New York last week, but the Jets defense will be a little stronger against the Dolphins. Cornerback Darrelle Revis will return to the field after recovering from a concussion.

If Sanchez has another poor outing, Miami could see a heavy dose of Tim Tebow. While the quarterback hasn’t completed a pass in 2012, he had some success in Pittsburgh. He had one run for 22 yards and led the Jets down the field in the Wildcat offense.

Prediction: Tannehill improved last week against the Texans, but he’ll have a tough time against a good Jets defense. With Revis back, the Dolphins quarterback will likely throw a few picks. Sanchez might struggle, but he should be able to do enough to give New York the win.

Predicted Score: New York 20, Miami 17
