As the NFL enters the unofficial halfway point of the season, four teams own a perfect 7-0 record heading into Week 9 but one is actually considered an underdog at home. The Carolina Panthers (7-0) improved to the best start in franchise history, but are two-point underdogs to the visiting Green Bay Packers (6-1) in Sunday’s matchup.

Otherwise, the undefeated New England Patriots are the biggest favorites of the week, with odds makers picking them to defeat the Washington Redskins at home by two touchdowns, the Cincinnati Bengals are 10-point favorites over rival Cleveland, and Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos return to Indianapolis as three-point road favorites.

Meanwhile, the streaking New Orleans Saints seek their fourth-straight win and a better than .500 record when they welcome the Tennessee Titans as eight-point favorites.

Every game should be an intriguing matchup, and it figures to be a difficult week for office pool players. The pool rules are simple. Just circle the team you believe will win and then tally the total number of correct choices. The player with the most correct picks wins Week 9.

In the event of a tiebreaker, use “Monday Night Football’s” combined score to determine a winner. The player who guesses closest to the tally wins. This week, the Chicago Bears (2-5) travel to face the San Diego Chargers (2-6).
