Another "Bachelor" couple has decided to call it quits. After Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell pulled the plug on their relationship earlier this year, Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi, whose relationship has been rumored to be on the rocks for months, have reportedly decided to part ways.

According to reports, Viall and Grimaldi's friends knew all along that their relationship was doomed because their personalities were just too different. "Their friends knew the relationship wouldn't last," a source told People. "It was a mismatch from the start. She's super fun, bubbly and outgoing and he's more of a serious personality and more introverted. She would try to bring him out of his shell, but he's just not as comfortable in big groups."

Viall, who has had a hard time finding love on dating shows, is single again. He appeared twice on "The Bachelorette" and once in "Bachelor in Paradise" before starring in his own season of "The Bachelor." Despite this, the insider said he is handling the split with Grimaldi well because "it wasn't an overnight decision, and they're amicable."

Viall and Grimaldi confirmed their split to the publication on Friday via a statement. "It's with a great amount of heartbreak for the both us as we have decided to end our engagement," the two wrote. "We gave this relationship our all and we are saddened that we did not get the fairytale ending we hoped for. We will continue to be there for each other no matter what. This hasn’t been an easy decision, however, as we part ways, we do so with lots of love and admiration for each other."

Prior to their breakup, there had been reports suggesting that the pair was already on the verge of a split. The two attended Evan Bass and Carly Waddell's wedding together in June, but the love-filled atmosphere reportedly dried up when they were on their flight back to Los Angeles.

At the time, an eyewitness claimed that "they didn't exchange five words the entire flight" and "were angled completely away from each other." When the plane landed, Viall reportedly grabbed his bag and left Grimaldi alone at the airport.
