Gwen Stefani's former band, No Doubt, announced they will have a summer tour in May this year. Paramore will be their opening act.

The whole reason to go on this trip was to have fun, try on all our favorite songs again and be inspired to create new music. It feels good to be together again, Stefani said.

The Sounds, Janelle Monae and Bedouin Soundclash will rotate as the third band on the bill.

Tour dates have not all been confirmed, only May 3 at New Jersey's Bamboozle Festival has been confirmed.

The tour will be produced by Live Nation, and will include stops in both the USA and Canada in outdoor amphitheatres and arenas.

The band, who has had hits like Don't Speak and Just a Girl, last toured in 2004, co-headlining with Blink 182.
