Texas Rangers President and Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan is in a Houston hospital undergoing heart tests.

In a statement, The Rangers said that Ryan, 64, is resting comfortably and reports he is feeling better.

He went to the hospital on Sunday morning after complaining of discomfort while at home in Georgetown, Tex.

The all-time strikeout king is expected to be released from the hospital in a few days.

According to reports, Ryan endured a double-bypass operation in 2000 and his family has history of heart disease.
Over his immortal 27-year career, Ryan also rang up a record seven no-hitters.

He has been a part-owner of the Rangers since 2008.
