An explosion in a transformer on a sidewalk on 6th avenue and 20th street in New York City, damaged the front door of a Radio Shack store and damaged an entire seven-story building on Thursday.

No injuries were reported and all the people in the building were evacuated. The cause of the explosion is still unknown.

A spokesman from Consolidated Edison, Christopher Olert, said the transformer was in a vault below the front of the building, NBC New York reports.

The windows of the building were broken as a result of the fire.
