President-elect Barack Obama will be featured in issue No. 583 of The Amazing Spider-Man which will hit the stands on January 14 with two different covers, Marvel Comics announced Thursday.

Obama who collected Spider-Man comics as a child will now be featured in a bonus story with Spider-Man.

Comic books have a history of including president. John F. Kennedy appeared in the pages of Superman and Richard Nixon also had cameos The Fantastic Four and in The Incredible Hulk.
