Obama's tax bill wins final congressional approval
The deal President Barack Obama made with Republicans to extend expiring tax cuts and boost the economy won final U.S. congressional approval on Thursday.
The House passed the bill, 277-148, a day after it sailed through the Senate, 81-19. The measure now goes to Obama to sign into law.
