Ohio State University vacated all 12 wins from its 2010 football season today in response to the NCAA rules violations. The university also vacated its Sugar bowl win.

Ohio State coach Jim Tressel resigned on May 30 amid suspensions of players for trading football paraphernalia for tattoos at a local tattoo parlor. The university also self-imposed a two-year NCAA probation, and confirmed the continuation of suspensions for the five involved players for the first five games of the 2011 season.

The university is allowing Tressel to officially change his resignation into a retirement.
