Your favorite fairytale characters are back. The season 3 premiere of “Once Upon A Time” is only a couple weeks away, and the synopsis for “The Heart Of The Truest Believer” has leaked online.

When we last left Storybrooke, Henry had been kidnapped and taken to Neverland. With one magic bean left, a search party consisting of Emma, Mary Margaret, David, Regina, Mr. Gold and Hook took off after him … but their quest to find him will prove to be difficult in season 3.

According to a synopsis from ABC, Emma and the others will be traveling through a portal on the Jolly Roger during episode 1. And while they’ll make it to Neverland safely, they won’t be welcomed with open arms. It promises to be “a much darker place than you remember.” The six members of the rescue team will find themselves face-to-face with mermaids in Neverland. But unfortunately the mermaids are “not-to-friendly” and will “threaten to end their search before it begins.”

Meanwhile, Henry will find an ally in Neverland -- another person who managed to escape from Peter Pan’s grasp. Together the two will go on the run from the Lost Boys. And even though “Once Upon A Time” is introducing a new land, they still haven’t forgot about the Enchanted Forest. A tattered Neal will be recovering from his wounds in the magical land as he travels with Mulan “in an attempt to learn the fates of Emma and Henry.”

The season premiere of “Once Upon A Time” will air on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 8 p.m., but if you need to play catch up the network is airing a special “Journey To Neverland” episode prior. “Journey To Neverland” will air on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 7 p.m. and will “bring new viewers up to date”

“The special will take a look at Emma Swan and Mary Margaret’s separation from their new-found family that left them stranded in a post-curse Fairy Tale Land,” explains a press release from ABC. “The backstories and secrets of some of your favorite characters will also be revealed, and the special will offer a glimpse into what’s upcoming for season 3 -- the trek to Neverland to save Henry.”
