Is it Mar. 1 yet? “Once Upon a Time” fans have a long wait until the midseason premiere, but fortunately executive producer Adam Horowitz has been kind enough to release a couple of teasers from the episode 13 script. As a last minute New Year’s gift to viewers, Horowitz posted the following message on Twitter:

The script tease doesn’t reveal much, simply hinting that Regina (Lana Parrilla) will be involved in some capacity when the hit ABC fairytale series returns. When we last left the former evil queen, Robin Hood (Sean Maguire) chose to be with her over his wife, Marian (Christie Laing). Regina was ecstatic, but as “Once Upon a Time” viewers know, villains don’t get happy endings. Instead of walking off into the sunset with Robin Hood, Regina was forced to say goodbye to him at the Storybrooke town border after the Snow Queen’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) icy spell consumed Marian. Robin Hood couldn’t let his ex die, and Regina didn’t want their relationship to start that way either. When he crossed over the border, a grief-stricken Regina tore up the Storybook photo that depicted her and Robin Hood meeting in the Enchanted Forest of the past.

While Regina experienced great loss in the winter finale, she also received a bit of hope in the final moments when Henry (Jared S. Gilmore) discovered a secret room in the Sorcerer’s mansion. The room was full of blank Storybook’s – hinting that they could be close to finally meeting the Storybook author. Could Adam Horowitz’s script tease be about Regina rewriting her story?

Viewers will have to wait and see what kind of drama unfolds in the midseason premiere, but that’s not the only script tease that Adam Horowitz posted on Twitter. Only Dec. 26 he released this text from episode 13:

Who is the “voice” and what is “ready”? Could it have something to do with Rumplestiltskin’s (Robert Carlyle) gathering of the Queens of Darkness – Maleficent (Kristin Bauer van Straten), Ursula (Merrin Dungey) and Cruella de Vil (Victoria Smurfit)?

Watch the midseason premiere of “Once Upon a Time” when it returns to ABC on Sunday, Mar. 1, at 8 p.m. EST. What do you think of the script teases? Tweet your thoughts to @AmandaTVScoop.
