Z100's Jingle Ball was the hottest ticket in New York City on Dec. 7, 2012. Justin Bieber, One Direction, Taylor Swift, The Wanted, Jason Mraz, Ne-Yo, Cher Lloyd, Fun., B.o.B, Ed Sheeran and Olly Murs played Z100's Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden.

The epic annual event saw some of the biggest pop stars sharing the same stage. Many of these names have sold out Madison Square Garden on their own, and fans were eager to see so many of their favorite bands in one night. Bieber recently gave a sold out concert at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 28, and One Direction sold out MSG on Dec. 3. Jason Mraz will headline Madison Square Garden on Dec. 10. The Wanted are Italian pop superstars; their song “Glad You Came” became an instant hit. The Wanted's next album, “Third Strike,” will feature a collaboration with LMFAO and possible collaborations with Pitbull and Chris Brown.

Taylor Swift performed two concerts at Madison Square Garden in 2011. Ne-Yo is a three-time Grammy Award winner, and B.oB. has had three hit singles, "Nothin' On You," "Airplanes" and "Magic."

Z100's Jingle Ball is an annual event that gathers some of the biggest names in music but also introduces fans to some great up-and-coming acts. Ed Sheeran, a British singer-songwriter, has been growing in popularity and opened for One Direction at Madison Square Garden. Sheeran collaborated with Taylor Swift and will be the main supporting act for her upcoming 2013 Red Tour. Fun. has risen from the indie rock ranks to pop star status thanks to their hit “We Are Young.” Olly Murs is another English act that is growing in popularity. Murs was a runner-up on the British version of “The X Factor” and has collaborated with Robbie Williams and Flo Rida and toured with One Direction. Cher Lloyd also gained fame on “The X Factor,” finishing in fourth place in the seventh season, the same season that saw One Direction finish in third place.
